How it Works

Eligible SMEs from all over India are required to complete and submit an Awards Entry, consisting of a series of questions which evaluate their standards of excellence and overall success. The Award nominations will include a questionnaire and the last 3 years audited P & L statement.

Award Entries can be completed online here or by completing the Official Entry Form filling up online and submitting.

Entries must be completed in accordance with the terms and conditions and received by the closing date (31 October 2021) to be considered as an award entrant.

Following the close of Entries, Finalists will be selected based on the content provided in the awards entry form, and notified of their success via mail. All entrants do not automatically become finalists.

National finalists will compete with businesses in their category across India and the winners being selected by our expert jury panel and named at the gala presentation evening in 25 November 2021.

The awards are open to all Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India within the listed industries with the criteria mentioned below.

Winner Selection Process

The judges are representatives from a variety of industries who have relevant experience or an understanding of the operations of a SME.

Judges will shortlist the entrants into finalists. The number of finalists will depend on the quality and quantity of entrants for each category. Not all entrants will automatically become finalists.

Judging is assessed on: the responses to the Awards Criteria questions located within the entry form, additional supporting documentation, last 3 years audited P & L and overall presentation of the entry.

The outcome of each business’ assessment will determine the Small Enterprise India Business Award 2021 winners.

Businesses are judged only within one award category. If an entrant selects more than one category, judges have the right to determine the most applicable category without notification or consultation.

Judges reserve the right to transfer a business into another category if they believe an entrant would be more appropriately assessed in that category.
