1) How does it work?
Businesses are invited to submit an entry based on the selection criteria detailed online or on the entry form.
After all entries have been considered, the national finalists are advised of their success by email. National finalists will compete with businesses in their category across India and the winners announced at the Small Enterprise Business Awards gala presentation evening on 25 November 2021.
2) How do I know if I am eligible to enter?
The awards are open to all small businesses in India within all industries.
There are no restrictions. You can be home based or an owner operator as long as the eligibility are met.

4) How do I enter the Awards?

Entries must be completed in accordance with the terms and conditions and received by the closing date (31 October 2021) to be considered as an award entrant.
5) Is there a limit in answering the Awards Criteria?
No. The aim of the entry is to provide judges with an understanding of your business that best reflects your passion and dedication. Responses do not need to be lengthy but should be clear and precise and should include supporting material.
6) Can I email my entry?
No. Entries will not be accepted by email.
However, an electronic copy of the Entry Form is allowed to be completed online and submitted.
7) What is the closing date for entries?
All entries close on 25 October 2021. However, the Early Bird offer will close by 31 August 2021, the Regular offer will close by 30 September 2021, and the Last Minute offer will close by 25 October 2o21.

9) What happens after I enter?
Judges representing a variety of industries will shortlist all entrants into National Finalists for each category.
After all entries have been considered, the national finalists are invited to the Small Enterprise Business Awards 2021 Presentation Evening on 25 November 2021.
10) Will all entries become finalists?
No. Judges will decide on the content of the entry and can eliminate entries based on areas such as an incomplete entry form, inability to meet the awards criteria or unsuitable eligibility requirements.
11) How do I know if I have been selected as a finalist?
All Finalists will receive notification and an Invitation by mail to the Awards night. All SEBA 2021 finalists will be published on the awards website.
12) What do I receive if I become a SEBA 2021 winner?
At the SEBA 2021 presentation evening winners will be presented with an Award Trophy and a winner’s kit containing a certificate for their achievement. In addition, they will receive recognition as being one of India’s Top Small Businesses and will be highlighted through targeted press releases to the media. In addition, winners will be eligible for the following below:

13) Who judges the entries?
Representatives from a variety of industries and associations who have experience and has an understanding of MSMEs are involved in the judging of all entries.
14) What are the businesses judged on?
Judging is based on the Awards Criteria answers and supporting documentation included in the entry.
15) Can I bring any other person/staff along with me to the SEBA 2021 presentation evening?
SEBA 2021 will be a Virtual event due to the present situation and also to abide by the COVID-19 Protocol. If the situation improves and the government allows public gatherings, we shall conduct a Hybrid event. In that case, each nomination entitles entry only for the nominated company representative. Since this is an exclusive Awards night, entry is restricted by invitation only. Any person who would like to accompany the nominated company representative will have to purchase a Delegate ticket.
